Our Business
We are an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, focused on developing and publishing a wide range of casual and family oriented titles on leading console and portable systems. Our diverse product portfolio provides us with multiple opportunities to capitalize on the large and growing installed base of digital entertainment platforms and an increasing number of digital entertainment enthusiasts. Over our 22 year history we have developed strong retail and distribution network relationships that enable us to sell our products to U.S. retail chains, including Wal-Mart, GameStop, Best Buy, Target and Toys 'R Us.
Our Offerings
We are currently focused on producing software for the Nintendo DS and Wii systems given the growing installed bases and broad mass market demographic of both. We have also produced products for major interactive hardware platforms, including Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PC, PSP, Game Boy Advance and GameCube.
Our video game titles are offered at a range of price points, from lower-priced ‘‘value'' titles to higher-priced ‘‘premium'' titles. Our value titles include proprietary properties, such as Left Brain Right Brain and well-known licensed properties, such as Nancy Drew. Some of our recent premium titles include Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2009 for Wii and Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends for DS. We collaborate and enter into agreements with leading content providers and video game development studios for the development of our premium titles.
Corporate Information
Majesco Entertainment Company was incorporated in 1986 under the laws of the State of New Jersey. On December 5, 2003, Majesco Sales Inc. completed a reverse merger with ConnectivCorp, then a publicly traded company with no active operations. ConnectivCorp was incorporated in 1998 under the laws of the State of Delaware. As a result of the merger, Majesco Sales Inc. became a wholly-owned subsidiary and the sole operating business of the public company. On April 11, 2005, the public company changed its name to ‘‘Majesco Entertainment Company'' to better reflect its current operating business.
